This year long project was created in response to moving to a new city. Each sticker was hand-colored and unique, serving as words of encouragement written to myself. The stickers were then placed in public places around the city, as a way of off ering empowerment to those that walked by. Since these lived in the public domain, there
was no telling how long they would remain before being removed by the city or the weather. The social media component consisted of posting two photos each day for a year: one of a sticker and one personal photo. It guided me to a letterpress apprenticeship, where I created postcards in which the sender could fi ll in the blank and send it to someone they were thinking of. The project also included an 8
