SHUTOFF

This packaging design was commissioned by a client for the release of their techno record. Due to the scarcity of wood type available to me, the word “SHUTOFF” was printed several times, allowing for many specimens to work from. This ensured that every single letter on the cover was actually a uniquely printed variant. After printing, the images were scanned, allowing for manipulation of the letter “O”, which was from a different typeface. Using the digital layout, the artwork was then screenprinted on both sides of the LP sleeve.
